SuperGourd by Troyer This 10" one piece blow molded gourd is a result of 20 years of studying the Purple Martin breeding behavior. Developed by the director of the Purple Martin Conservation Association.

Weighing in at 31 ounces these heavy gourds don't swing as much in the wind. A large threaded inspection port is suitable for an average human hand to enter and pull out a handful of nesting material. Molded canopy top is ideal for martins to perch on and includes a built-in non slip ribbing for added stability. Seven 5/16 size holes come pre-drilled on the bottom for proper drainage. 1/4" holes are drilled on top to accept a hanging wire or rod for mounting. Each crescent opening gourd includes a heavy duty plastic inside and outside porch that can be attached easily using the included nuts and bolts to secure them.

SGR models with round hole openings are 2-1/8" diameter while SGCP crescent hole openings measure 1-3/16".UV Inhibitors are added to the plastic which help protect your gourd and provide many years of use with your martin family.
